About Us

Pritha Health Care Charitable Trust
Pritha Health Care Charitable Trust was established with the prime motive of providing quality and essential healthcare services to people in need at very low or no cost.
This trust was founded by confronting the stark reality of India’s healthcare divide: while most healthcare providers concentrate their facilities on urban and semi-urban centers, more than 60% of our population still resides in rural villages. Among them, over 70% lack even basic essential healthcare due to health illiteracy, severe geographic inaccessibility, and financial unaffordability—leading to tragically elevated preventable mortality rates.
The Pyramidal Model of Rural Healthcare
While temporary health camps are efficient for initial screening, they cannot deliver lasting preventive and curative solutions on their own. Therefore, Pritha Health Care Charitable Trust is determined to develop permanent healthcare infrastructure across rural India through a structured pyramidal model:
Primary Care Health Clinic
Established at every 5,000 rural population to deliver 24/7 first-aid, essential medicines, outpatient consultation, and emergency diagnostic triage.
Community Health Care Centre
Established for every 100,000 rural population, equipped with specialized dental care, eye care units, maternal wards, and day-care surgical facilities.
Tertiary Health Care Centre
State-of-the-art super-specialty hospital for every 1,000,000 population, performing advanced cataract microsurgeries, prosthetic fittings, and complex inpatient rehabilitation.
