In a landmark humanitarian partnership, the Embassy of Japan in India officially handed over state-of-the-art ophthalmic equipment to Pritha Health Care under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP) scheme.
The new machinery includes high-precision slit lamps, automated phacoemulsification units, and corneal topography instruments. These tools allow our medical specialists to detect glaucoma, retinal detachments, and corneal disorders at an early stage.
With this substantial technical upgrade, our base hospital in Moradabad can now perform over 50 complex eye surgeries daily with significantly reduced recovery times for destitute patients.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the people and Government of Japan for standing with rural communities and empowering our mission of accessible quality healthcare.
